A.
Mr. Johnson was my high school English teacher, and he was different from any other teacher I've had. He dedicated himself to truly connecting with his students and making sure they felt seen and heard.
B.
Every day, Mr. Johnson would start class by asking us how we were doing, and he actually listened. It made us feel like he cared about us as individuals. What was incredible about him was his desire to push us to our limits. He believed in us even when we didn't believe in ourselves.
C.
One day, Mr. Johnson announced that he was retiring at the end of the year. The news hit our class hard. But instead of feeling sad, Mr. Johnson said he was excited for this new chapter in his life. He told us that he had loved every minute of being our teacher, and he was confident that we would do great things.
D.
Mr. Johnson wasn't just a great teacher; he was a true mentor and friend who inspired an entire generation of students.
